Lola Tere, a 53-year-old taxi driver, would be fine with the extrajudicial killings popping up in the news cycle every now and then, if not for her lingering fear that the next body found would belong to her missing granddaughter Hannah: a reckless, gang-affiliated 17-year old , who Tere has been searching for ever since their falling-out five months ago. But thanks to a chance encounter with a suspicious passenger, Reyven, she braves a breadcrumb trail of clues that leads her to finally find her apo. Unfortunately, she also finds the fresh corpse of a high-profile gangster in the same room: Hannah's lover, who she says she killed in self-defense. They soon discover that the only way for this to end well for them both is to bury the body where no one can find it, but with gangsters, police, and deep-seated personal grievances in the way, the darkest journey of their lives won't be as bloodless as they expect.
